Earthworm Foundation is seeking a motivated Senior Partnership Manager - Deputy Head for Latam based in Peru or Mexico.

  • Excellence in people leadership;
  • Support the Regional Head Latam in oversee Country Administration: Legal, H.R., Financial Accountability, Process Compliance;
  • Ensure her/his team is at their happy healthy best, well informed and motivated to contribute to the shared mission;
  • Lead In-region Business Development and Strategic Partnerships;
    • Identify companies and commodities that present opportunities to increase our impact on responsible commodity production in the region;
    • Develop relationships with prospective members and other stakeholders;
    • Create proposals, negotiate contracts and grow our Membership base in the region;
    • Engage in change interventions with company leadership;
    • Having the tough conversations and being decisive when needed;
  • Share High Quality Communications, both External and Internal;
  • By working with the regional team, ensure delivery of high quality / professional work on Member Management, Programs, Clients, Donors;
  • Active in Thought Leadership;
  • Effectively represent Earthworm at events and conferences;
  • Communication with external stakeholders as necessary for outreach and research, and to develop strong relationships with other organizations and experts;
  • Conduct field visits to agriculture and forestry companies in support of better environment, social and labor practices.

Additional expectation in being a good professional in the role:

  • Delivery on time and on budget;
  • Strong discipline of delivering quality outputs in a timely manner;
  • Consistent completion of required administrative tasks i.e. TS, Expenses, in accordance to the procedures in place;
  • Active contributing to the country and organizational goals;
  • Strive to live the EF values in everything they do;
  • Financial accountability, systematic checking of figures and budget availability;
  • Submission of timesheets within given timelines.

Requirements – Candidate Profile Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 5 years Project Management or Business Management and Development experience in a relevant field. Ideally in the manufacturing, agriculture or foresty sectors touching supply chain management, procurement, quality control, environmental management, social impact or labor relations;
  • Strong experience working on responsible / sustainable development in the region;
  • Experience working with companies the development of action plans, budgets and delivery management towards responsible sourcing of raw materials;
  • Demonstrated results related to fundraising and growing a program of work;
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with outside stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capacity;
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, and successfully deliver on time, on budget and of high-quality work.

Language skills:

  • Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken);
  • Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Working conditions / Physical effort:

  • Based in Peru or Mexico (depending on the selected candidate);
  • Office based with an estimated 30% travel as required;
  • Must be able to travel on long-haul trips both domestically and internationally for up to a week or more.

  • Open-ended contract;
  • Full-time position;
  • Valid work authorization required (depending on the final location).
