With a total planted area of more than 500, 000 hectares in Indonesia, Golden Agri-Resources (GAR) Limited is the world's second largest palm oil company. Headquartered in Singapore, GAR’s subsidiaries operate in Indonesia, China, Europe and the USA; working all along the palm oil value chain – from oil palm plantations all the way to refining and merchandising palm products.
Since 2011, we have worked with GAR to ensure their sustainability policy is understood and implemented across their own operations, as well as with third-party suppliers. Key actions have included supply chain analysis, improving procedures on key social and environmental issues and supplier engagement.
