Film: Supporting Liberian communities to develop land

Palm oil demand is expected to double by 2050. This means more land will be needed to plant it. Many isolated rural communities where this is taking place are living in poverty. It's vital they are properly consulted and compensated for their land.

Our new film shows how we have supported the Wlowein community in Liberia to protect high conservation value forest and receive $209k of compensation for some of the land they leased for development.
